Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon

Rob Burrow, a former player for the Leeds Rhinos, received a motor neurone disease diagnosis in December 2019. Since then, Rob and his family have worked relentlessly to promote awareness of MND and raise money to assist other families affected by the disease.

7,777 runners will take on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon’s brand-new route in Leeds, which begins and ends at Headingley Stadium. The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will be a fitting homage to the city that started Rob’s career and which he now calls home, taking through some of Leeds’ most beautiful countryside and outlying districts.

Leeds marathon starts at Headingley Stadium and is a loop into Otley and finishes back at Headingley Stadium.

Driving and nearest parking

Parking near Headingley Stadium is in our opinion, a difficult task. Headingley Stadium does not accommodate public parking on match days so it is unlikely you will be able to park there on the day of Leeds marathon.

Other car parks may open up to accommodate the thousands expected on the day. The nearest larger carpark we’re currently aware of is the retail park, Cardigan Fields Leisure Park, Kirkstall Road, LS4 2DG.  Be warned, it is a 45-minute walk to Headingley Stadium from there.

There are nearby on-street parking spots near Headingley Stadium, however these are severely limited. Check the nearest parking for Headingley Stadium, here on Parkopedia.
